Description
This product is non-foaming and easy to rinse. Peracetic acid has a wide range of applications. In the beverage industry, it can be used to disinfect pipelines, tanks, heat exchangers, CO₂ injectors, syrup tanks, PET empty bottles, and filling machines. In the dairy industry, it can disinfect raw milk tanks, various pipelines, tanks, HTST and UHT sterilizers, and filling machines. In the general food processing industry, it can be used for disinfecting containers, cutting tools, sauce filling machines, meat processing equipment, and general area sanitation.
According to the Food Detergent Sanitation Standards (Revised September 11, 2024):
- When used on food utensils, containers, and packaging surfaces that come into contact with food, and when no rinsing with clean water is performed afterward, the maximum allowable concentration is 315 ppm.
- For fresh or ready-to-eat foods, the residual concentration must be below 1 ppm.
Usage Instructions
The dosage of peracetic acid varies depending on the application:
- CIP Pipeline Disinfection: Use at room temperature with an original solution concentration of 0.2% v/v (diluted 500 times, with an effective peracetic acid concentration of 300 ppm). Circulate for 10 minutes and rinse with clean water afterward.
- Empty Bottle Cleaning and Disinfection: The concentration depends on the disinfection method, temperature, and contact time. Rinse with clean water after use.
- Other Applications: Use at room temperature with an original solution concentration of 0.05–0.5% v/v (effective peracetic acid concentration of 75–750 ppm) for 5–15 minutes, and rinse with clean water after use.
